Cochin University of Science and Technology, School of Management
studies offers MBA in Travel and Tourism. The eligibility criterion is
graduation in any discipline with minimum 50 per cent marks. The
admission is based on performance at Common Admission Test (CAT) of CUSAT. 
• Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (Gwalior and
Bhubaneswar) offer postgraduate diploma in management (Tourism and
Travel). This year, the seats were offered to students with valid CAT,
XAT, ATMA, GMAT or MAT scores.
• Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies offers postgraduate
diploma in business administration (travel and tourism). Candidates with
graduation in any discipline with minimum 50 per cent marks are
eligible. The admission is based on score obtained in management
aptitude test.
India has realised its potential in the area of travel and tourism and
started working towards the development of this sector in the last few
years. Resultantly the allied industries are offering promising careers
in the area. You can seek employment in government and private
organisations, which include a variety of industries like travel
agencies, airlines, travel consultancies, hotels and freight companies
in executive, marketing or managerial positions.
