Can I travel between cities economically by train?

I would like to also visit Kerala, but what may be unrealistic for a 2 week vacation?

I am a 26 year old female who will be traveling alone for the first time to India?

You have to go to Ladakh via Delhi and likley the roads are closed (it's
more of a summer destination) -Kashmir is off limits and Chandigarh is
only of interest for the architecture. Excluding Kerala I would say you
need nearly 2 months for the above trip. So let me know your areas of
