Promotion
The maximum initial deposit bonus is $300. The Bonus Amount will
automatically be added to your Pending Bonus account where it will be
held and automatically released to your cash account based on the
following easy requirements; for each raked hand (minimum rake of $0.50)
you play you will receive 1 point, and you will receive 1 point for each
$1 of tournament buy-in fee. Please note that the tournament fee is now
collected as a 9% of the total of the prize pool and that Pending points
will be based on the fee collected rounded up to the closest whole
number. For example a $10 tourney will generate $0.90 in fees, and will
earn 1 point.
At 100 points $10 will be transferred from your Pending Bonus account to
your cash account. Money in your pending account will expire 60 days
from the time it was awarded unless it has been transferred to your real
money account by meeting the hands played requirements. You can view
your point total and bonus amounts at the Cashier. You will continue to
earn points until you have received 100% of your bonus money. This offer
is only valid for new users who have not previously made a deposit. You
are only allowed one active real money account. If more than one real
money account is detected you risk both player accounts being
blacklisted from ever playing at BigChipPoker again.

Tournaments
Multi Table Tournaments
1. Each online poker tournament will begin promptly at the scheduled
time stated in the Tournament Lobby.
2. According to the rules of Poker, seats are assigned at random.
Seat changes are not permitted.
3. The poker tournament ends when one player accumulates all the
chips in play.
4. If two or more players are eliminated on the same hand, the player
with more chips at the beginning of the hand is placed higher. If
players started the hands with an identical amount of chips, both
players tie for that rank, and according to the rules of poker any
prizes due to those players will be equally distributed between them.
5. Big Chip Poker uses a "forward moving button" rule in its
tournaments. According to this rule of poker, no player ever receives
the button twice; at the completion of every hand, the button is moved
counterclockwise to the small blind. The implication of this rule of
poker is that when players are eliminated, there may be players who get
a reprieve from one or both blinds. The forward moving button is common
practice in online poker due to the technicalities involved in adjusting
the blinds after players are eliminated. Since these are basically
random occurrences, no player will receive any long-term advantage, and
the rule of poker is necessarily fair for all players.
Single Table Tournaments
1. Any player is eligible to enter the single table poker tournament
by posting the required buy in and entry fee before the start of each event.
2. All Texas Holdem and Omaha poker tournaments start with exactly 9
players. All 7 card stud poker tournaments start with 7 players. Players
are allowed to play in several tournaments at a time.
3. Every poker tournament is played until one player has all the
chips. Players may not acquire additional chips beyond the original buy
in. Players are immediately eliminated from the poker tournaments once
they lose all their chips.
4. Big Chip Poker offer many different limits for single table
tournaments, varying by game, with the prizes based on the amount of the
buy in and final placement. Top 3 places will get paid according to the
following schedule: 50% 1st place, 30% 2nd place, and 20% for 3rd place.
5. There is no rake charged on any tournaments.
