How can I use Excel charts in a web page to display poll results etc?

We have done something similar using the ChartSpace object from
Microsoft Office Web Components. If you install the dll on your server,
you can define a chart layout and the data to be represented in an asp,
create a temporary gif file and display it using an image tag. You can
use FSO to get a unique temporary file name. The charts are not as
pretty as those from excel but do the job. Put the temporary files in a
unique directory because you will need to delete the "old" ones
regularly.
