Brian Haines, Ben Masten, Microsoft FrontPage Help > Answer Wizard 'add a plugin'
You just needed to know that FrontPage calls it a Plug-in.
Add a plug-in with Front Page 2000
On the Insert menu, point to Advanced, and then click Plug-In.
In the Data source box, type the URL or file location of the plug-in,
or click Browse to locate the plug-in.
In the Message for browsers without plug-in support box, type HTML or
plain text to display in place of the plug-in on Web browsers that
don't support plug-ins.
Under Size, specify the plug-in's width and height.
If you want the plug-in to be hidden when the page is viewed in a Web
browser, select the Hide plug-in check box.
Under Layout, specify the alignment, border thickness, and horizontal
and vertical spacing for the plug-in.
If you want to specify cascading style sheet properties as an inline
style for the plug-in, click the Style button.
