How can I perform a syntax check of a php file?

Jul 16th, 2001 11:39
Rich Cavanaugh, Wolf-Gideon Bleek,

You'll need to have php compiled as a cgi so you can call it from the
command line.
/path/to/php -l myfile.php
(that's a lowercase L)
you can also use
/path/to/php -?
