Colin Fraser, New Kid,

The short answer is, you never used to be able to. However, that just
aint necessarily so anymore.
Depending on how you set your images and imagemaps up, you can do all
sorts of things. For example, I understand that Jasc's PaintShop Pro 7
slices and dices images these days, then propares the code to insert a
whole image into the page. If this is so, then what you can do is create
two image maps from the same image, one a highlighted one, slice them up
in the same way and then just use normal rollovers.
PSPv7 is not the only program that can do this, but it is usually freely
available from http://www.jasc.com there should also be some tutorials
in how to use the program there as well.
