How do I dynamically create a gif image from text?

Apr 29th, 2001 14:48
Colin Fraser, Jean-Marc,

As far as I know, Javascript does not create images, I have never seen
any reference to this particular ability, however, there are a number of
scripting tools around that may help you in this particular quest.
Perhaps one of the earliest, and cheapest, tools is found here
http://www.povray.org/
Scripted images are not easy to create but they can be excellent images,
as this site demonstrates. Raytracing has largely been supplanted by
things like 3D Studio Max and Lightwave, certainly in the graphic
industry, but it still has a role to play. Good luck if that is what you
want to do.
