How do I drag & drop images?

It's the same as dragging and dropping a layer but with a subtle 
difference. You place the image in the layer and at the end of your 
mousemove handler make sure you place the statement "return false;"
Otherwise, in Windows you'll get a "circle around a backslash" if you 
attempt to drag right over the image and the dragging won't happen 
then. The specific coding for drag and drop in general can be found 
else where on this site.
