Does Microsoft's Internet Explorer support XML?

Nov 21st, 2000 06:50
Michael Claßen,

Since version 4.0 Microsoft has integrated an XML parser in Internet
Explorer. Later versions also integrate an XSLT processor and XML data
binding. Web page developers can include XML in HTML pages and have the
browser transform that into HTML or manipulate it using the built-in
scripting languages.
Unfortunately these capabilities only work in IE, and sometimes are
different in different versions of the browser, so they are only useful
in a tightly controlled Intranet environment.

problems see http://webreference.com/xml/column20/.
