how can i change a video running in an tag <objet> (real player) when the user wants to see another one? (all in the same window)

The simple answer is that it is the user's choice to change a video, so 
all you can do is to make it as easy as you can for them to change. The 
problem is how to do this. It does not matter what you do, or how you 
present the viewing options, native viewers for the different browsers, 
and different OS's, not counting third-party viewers, still mean that 
the browser will do pretty much as it pleases. 
What I suggest is that you dont try to reinvent the wheel, just keep 
your web page as clean as you can, make any instructions clear and 
pertinent, and leave the rest to the user.
