Is there a reference showing all methods and properties for a given object? Netscapes online reference does not show methods like getElementByID().

Ian Grant, Jeff Vincent,

Netscape has decided to forward any references to the new Document
Object Model to W3C, since their new browser (NN6) closely follows its
standards. (Call it lazy, I'm not sure? 8^) You will have to learn
how to interpret a new language (sort of) for deciphering the documents
there. It is an Interface Descriptive Language (based on C++) to
explain the DOM objects and their methods.
Be forewarned: if you haven't done your homework and learned this IDL,
you will certainly be needing some Asprin. Keep a glass of water handy
too 8^)!

And that reference showing all methods (in Javascript):
