How do a find the path of the desktop and asign it a varible using JScript

Why would you want to? But that is only the first question. How about 
trying to determine what operating system the user has on their 
computer? I would suggeest that the path to the desktop in Windows is 
different than the desktop in, say, KDE or Gnome. Alternatively, I am 
sure that OS2 is still being used out there in Wonderland, are you sure 
it is not? There would still be Unix purists who think Linux is wild 
innovation, and does Unix use a desktop?
These questions and more should put you off trying to get an answer to 
the question you asked, however, consider this, Javascript was just not 
devised to do a lot of things, and this may be one of them.
