WHAT IS THE CODE TO ACCESS EMBEDDED SOUND FILES (.WAV - .MID) AND PLAY THEM SEQUENTIALLY "INSTEAD OF CONCURRENTLY" ?

ha mo, Colin Fraser, Bob Henning,
OK, I AM PARTIALLY DEAF BUT YOU DONT HAVE TO YELL AT ME.
"The answer to this is trivial", at least that is what one of my former
lecturers would say to me if I asked such a question. I do not propose
to write the code for you as it is somewhat tedious, but, logically, you
should be able to get a positive result if you place all the sound files
into an array, then a for loop that steps through the array. At the end
of each iteration of the the loop try a timeout(). This will force the
playing of the sound, then the browser stops to execute the time out,
but the sound should continue, then it loops again. This is a logical
approach, but unfortunately logic does not always work.
What may also help is to place the sounds into the cache then call them
via the for loop so they play in sequence after the execution of the
timeout().
Good luck.
