In IE when there is a form submitted banners appear to be broken. Why is that? Is it because IE is redirected? Is there any Jscript to fix it?

I have no answer to the first part of the question, but I think it is
possible that the page is reloaded from the local cache rather than from
the originating server. To fix the problem I suggest forcing a reload of
the page from the server. Try something like :
   window.location.reload()
 as part of the onsubmit function
