Yup. Read on.
I made myself a browsing PHP script for my website so I could upload
and show photos of my and my mates drunk in various cities of the world.
The file basically starts out by listing the directories (albums) in a
pre-defined photos directory.
When you click one, it then changes to display thumbnails of the photos
(if the thumbnails don't exist, the script creates them and saves them
in a /album/thumbs/ directory that it makes). You can then click
through pages of 12 photos.
It also has the ability to accept someone logging on, and then it shows
them an extra icon next to each photo. When this is clicked, they are
presented with a 'comment' box, which they can enter a comment for the
photo. That comment is then saved in a MySQL database and displayed
next to the image.
You can see the photos here:

The code is still in early stages, and it might not work on Netscape (I
usually leave that until the script is logically completed before I
waste time on Netscape users :))
