I want to popup a window when the person leaves my domain. How can I check for the domain of a new page to be loaded?

Why bother? There are so many ways for a person to leave your site that 
it becomes very difficult to trap any of them. 
Even though JavaScript ia client-side, I would suggest that the 
connectionless nature of the Web has an impact here, making it either 
ridiculous to try or just too hard.
