Brian Coogan,

The mailing list is well worth joining if you really want to understand
djbdns although it is relatively busy at between 1-30 messages per day.
The mailing list is described officially at
http://cr.yp.to/lists.html#dns and you can subscribe from there.
You can also join the mailing list by sending an empty mail to dns-
subscribe@list.cr.yp.to. Unsubscribing works similarly by sending an
empty mail to dns-unsubscribe@list.cr.yp.to.
Once you have carefully read the available documentation you can ask
for help on the mailing list. Remember to check both the official and
user homepages as well as Life with djbdns.
Be sure to provide real and concrete details as people get frustrated
with the number of overly vague requests for help. In particular,
please use real IP and domain names in your requests for help.
(Remember, there is no point in keeping these quiet as you are about to
publish them on the Internet for open access through DNS!) Providing
real details allows the list members to check further details as needed
and give more accurate answers to questions. Include an exact account
of what you did, what you expected to happen, and what you actually saw
occur.
For an explanation of why it's important to not obscure your DNS
information when asking for help:

dns-data.html
(The above link may be broken due to FAQTS inserting a line break; if
so please just join the two halves)
