How to handle special char's like É , Ü . I am passing company name in a system command but when there is a special char like Ü then command fails.

I think maybe you can first enter the initial name for your company and 
then user the php function $str=str_replce("?","#",$str) to change this 
str and then store it to the database,the next time when this record is 
retrived again you can restore this record again.
