Upgrading to 1.3.19 from the vanilla version that comes with Redhat 6.2.

Well, you can grab a generic Linux binary here:
http://www.apache.org/dist/httpd/binaries/linux/
Just grab the latest release, right now it's "apache_1.3.22-i686-
whatever-linux22.tar.gz" and then untar/unzip it:
tar -xvf apache_1.3.22-i686-whatever-linux22.tar.gz
From there, you can follow the instructions in the apache folder that
gets created. There is another way to get Apache. You can compile it
yourself. There is a guide here:
