How do I start a telnet session within Emacs?

Jun 16th, 2001 07:19
Per M Knutsen,

Type ESC x telnet
Emacs will then ask you which computer you want to connect to. Type
host name, username and password. Emacs will then open a telnet
connection to the host in a new buffer.
If you want to send a C-c (or any other command) to the telnet server,
it must be preceded by a C-s (thus C-c C-c or C-c C-z).
